Young Entrepreneurs Grant 2026
Purpose
The purpose of this Grant initiative is to promote the BNI Core Value of Givers Gain® as a business growth strategy for local businesses. Giving is a powerful business growth strategy.
Approach
The approach for this initiative consists of promoting the BNI Core Value of Givers Gain® to the wider business community.
This initiative is about reaching out to help young entrepreneurs. Our BNI community is full of givers and we want to Give more strongly and support this culture, by offering this Grant for Young Entrepreneurs.
How to Apply
Step 1
Members invite a young entrepreneur to their chapter meeting.
Step 2
The young entrepreneur applies for membership under this Grant, meeting all the selection criteria below.
Step 3
Membership Committee approves the young entrepreneur business. The first year Training and Onboarding Fee is covered by BNI® under this grant, only the membership fee is payable by the new young entrepreneur.
Grant Selection Criteria
- Young Entrepreneur must be aged between 18-25 years old, at the time of applying.
- The Young Entrepreneur must be accepted by the Membership Committee, at their sole discretion.
- On acceptance, the membership fee (currently $1,617, and to be reviewed 1 July 2026) is payable by the Young Entrepreneur. The remaining Onboarding and Training fee (currently valued at $935) will be covered by the Grant. This Grant excludes weekly venue related costs that may apply to our in person business groups.
- The Young Entrepreneur will still be required to complete all the BNI Onboarding and Training, once accepted as a Member.
- This Grant is valid until 31 December 2026.
